Hello!
I’m a career nanny with over 20 years of experience currently looking for my next opportunity. I’ve worked with kids from brand-new babies to older elementary-schoolers, and I genuinely love supporting families as they raise kind, curious, and independent humans.
I’m a dependable self-starter who’s just as comfortable playing in nature as I am managing a grocery list or coordinating with contractors. As a Jane-of-all-trades, I’m happy to pitch in where needed as part of the parental team.

I have experience with the following:
• Newborn Care Specialist/Postpartum Doula work, including twins, preemies, overnights and sleep training
• Elementary ages, from tutoring and homeschool support to time in a public Montessori classroom
• Extensive travel and 24/7 care while parents are away (passport is current)
• Household Management/Family Assistant duties like errands, pet care, organizing, grocery shopping, meal prep, and generally keeping the household running smoothly

Families can expect me to be reliable, trustworthy and respectful of their privacy. I appreciate open communication and a welcoming, collaborative environment with some autonomy throughout the day.
Personally, I’m positive, down-to-earth, and love being silly with kids. My favorite things include art, reading, swimming, travel, and exploring the outdoors — rain or shine (or snow!).

What Families Are Saying
“Amber is a joy to have around the house during the day. She is thoughtful and empathetic – she knows when to volunteer to help take a child off of my hands, when to help around the house and when to accompany me on an activity like going to the pool.
— Ally S.
“Amber is the most proactive person that I have hired to-date when it comes to household management and personal assistant tasks. She seems to have an innate sense of what each family needs to help things run smoothly and to make their lives easier.
— Cristina C.
“Amber was confident with the kids right away and pro-active with everything. I always trusted her, and was never skeptical of her methods. The kids love her, and I’m a better mom because of her.
— Morgan P.
